Westshore Karate focuses on life-long learning, fun, self-defence and fitness. No martial arts experience is necessary to join. The Westshore Karate school is located at City Centre Park in Langford so there is plenty of parking and it is conveniently located for the Westshore communities.

Rob and Sarah, the father and daughter team of Karate BC registered instructors of Westshore Karate are dedicated to the teaching of karate, not only for self-defence purposes, but also for character building, and the development of self-confidence, physical fitness, sport and camaraderie. Kimura Shukokai Karate is a style that is accessible to all ages, skill levels, and body types.

We are members of Karate BC, the Provincial Sport Organization for Karate in BC and there are many benefits of membership including access to a competition stream that can ultimately lead to Olympic participation, High School External Sports Credits and qualification of instructors.
