We want you and your kids to fall in love with kayaking and our coast, and it shows in the way we run our trips. Our family adventures are safe, fun, educational, environmentally friendly and for all levels of experience and abilities! We understand that families will have varying degrees of comfort when it comes to camping and kayaking, therefore we offer a lot of flexibility in our trips.

Vancouver Island is the best place on earth to see killer whales in the wild. Most of British Columbias 300 or so orcas return to these waters to feed, sleep, play, and rub their bodies on the pebble beaches of world famous Robson Bight Ecological Reserve. And theres no more exciting way to encounter pods of these fascinating animals than from the seat of your very own sea kayak. Also sharing this diverse habitat are dolphins, porpoises, sea lions, harbour seals, humpback whales, eagles and black bears, to name just a few.

Wake up on a remote island often to the sound of whales passing by can only be described as unique and breathtaking. Join us for a authentic, once in a lifetime kayaking adventure and experience the magic of the Johnstone Strait as a family.

Our tour menu (prepared by your guides) provides hearty, nutritious & "kid-friendly" meals. We work with your needs to accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and to ensure that your whole family will be happy with our food. We will basecamp at our camp on West Cracroft Island, with spacious walk-in tents, wood fired hot tub, hot showers, and covered dining and lounge areas. An established site is the perfect place to base ourselves for exploring the area.
