Greetings! Jong Kim Martial Arts Surrey (Taekwondo) boasts a rich family history for Taekwondo. My father, Grandmaster Jong Kim, was instrumental in aiding in the creation of Taekwondo starting back in 1955. His Master (Creator of Taekwondo), General Choi of Korea developed a new martial arts called Taekwondo. General Choi created International Taekwondo Federation. This became the first World Taekwondo organization as proofed by the Guinness Book of Records through extensive fact finding.

I, Master Edward Kim, celebrate my 50th yr in Taekwondo Experience. I owe everything to my Father and Master! He developed my incredible Taekwondo skills ; as well as, my moral character, work ethic, and discipline. All of these shape who I am today! I wish to impart these same traits to my Taekwondo students!

Jong Kim Martial Arts develops powerful and effective Taekwondo skills. But moreover, I utilize Taekwondo as a conduit to develop key character traits such as patience, kindness, and compassion. I believe such students will shape this world to be a better place to live in!
